This instance of Snappass ("Service") is a personal or hobby project operated by Acclaimed IT Consulting ("we", "us", "our"). By using this Service, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. No Warranty and No Liability

The Service is provided strictly "as is" and "as available", with no guarantees of uptime, security, storage, or functionality.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties—express or implied—and assume no liability for:

• Loss, exposure, corruption, or theft of data
• Unauthorized access or disclosure
• Service outages, interruptions, or failures
• Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Your total remedy for any issue related to the Service is limited to discontinuing use of the Service.

2. Not for Sensitive or Regulated Data

You agree not to store or transmit any of the following through this Service:

• Payment card data
• Social Security numbers or government ID numbers
• Protected Health Information (PHI)
• Financial account information
• Trade secrets or highly confidential business information
• Any data governed by HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR, or other regulatory frameworks

If you choose to do so anyway, you accept full responsibility and waive any claims against us.

3. No Guarantee of Storage or Deletion

Secrets may be deleted early, stored longer than expected, or lost unexpectedly. The Service makes no guarantees about storage duration or deletion timing.

4. Security Notice

While reasonable technical measures are used, perfect security is impossible. You acknowledge that:

• No system is completely secure
• Data may be intercepted, accessed, or compromised
• You use the Service at your own risk

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for illegal, harmful, abusive, or malicious purposes. We may suspend or terminate access at any time for any reason.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Acclaimed IT Consulting from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service.

7. Third-Party Software Notice

This Service uses the open-source Snappass project, provided by Pinterest, Inc., under the Apache License, Version 2.0. We are not affiliated with Pinterest, and we provide no warranty beyond the original license terms.

8. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
